Hi guys! Just thought I'd share some drawings I'm working on! (Just the completed ones...) Anyway, on the OMB, I'm posting drawings of portrates that might be seen on hatchery walls. They're funny in a Dinotopian way, and I thought I'd share 'em with you! This one's called "Lil' Mom" : (A tiny tiny Compy laying a BIG BIG egg!) _____ ...And there's this one! It's called "Lil' Artist" : (He got more paint everywhere else than on his painting!) _____ (Don't worry!... There'll be more once I finish 'em!...)

...And here's another one! This one's called "Lil' Chef" : (Taste yummy?... Good! Now clean up your mess!) _____ There's only one thing... That was all the ideas for drawing I had! (Looking for ideas for pictures suitable to put on hatchery walls. You know: baby dino doing something grown-up, but failing somehow... Like the things I drew so far...) Any ideas? If so, Pls. LMK... Thanks!

Indeed, that is me in that pic. I'm messy in RL. Try doing on with a T-rex or a Steg?

Well, there are a few ideas in the works! One Rosa gave me. About a human baby left in a nest with eggshells strewn around. A Troodont comes in, sees an impossible birth and yells for the others to see. In walks the baby's mother, freshly washed hatchling in her arms; and laughs at the silly confused saurian! Another is for Halloween! A Tyranosaur answers the door that night, and is scared to death to see four Trick-or-treaters! (One is a Pteranodon done as Dracula, one's a Pachy done as Frankenstein, another is a Miasaurus made to look like a mummy and the other is an Ankylosaur kid done as the Wolfman!) Another is for winter. Two toboggans slide down the hill, several human and saurian passengers in each with looks of glee on thier faces; and an Ankylosaur kid (The same kid!) is bellywhopping down the hill beside them with a Postal Bird chick as the pilot. In the background the adults are skiing, but the Brach is having trouble standing on the slippery snow! The last one depicts the learning involved. A group of kids featuring that same Ankylosaur is out in the field playing ball when thier Parasolophus teacher comes and halts play for thier reading lesson. The scene will be the oldest human girl reading aloud from a scroll on a near by rock while the others are alternately listening to her and horsing around, teacher looking on at a short distance. Got a little sidetracked in drawing today as a friend wanted me to create a wall hanginjg for him. He's in a recovery program, and I had to use the computer's graphics superpowers to create one for him. It reads: "This is the beginning of a new day. God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or grow in it's light, and be a service to others. But what I do with this day is important because I exchanged a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes today will be gone forever. I hope I will not regret the price I paid for it." I will post that here as well... It sounds Dinotopian! (Besides, he gave me $5.00 to do it!... )

Sounds like a passage from one of my "Our Daily Bread" devotionals I do everyday. It almost sounds Biblical in nature.
Here a challenge for ya. I would like to see a steg dressed up as a ghostly skeleton going door-to-door on halloween night.
Well, I guess I'll talk to ya later. I have to get some rest. I have a very nasty cold with a headache that I'm having a hard time keeping my right mind now.
BTW, I think Dragodoprss goioinining e shuhuttttingown sometitime either tomorrow or over the weekend.

Thanx for the suggestion! You get some rest for that cold (Hope it's not the flu!)... *Hands you a tissue*
Dragonadopters was down since the 5th, and said they'd be up by the 9th. I hope they are timely! Can't wait to post there once again (Miss the dragon lottery!)!

I'm back with another one! (Taa-daa!) This one was suggested by Rosa on OMB. It's titled: "A little confusion"(What a strange thing to have a human baby hatch like a dinosaur...) __________ Now this other one a friend of mine wanted me to make. He's with a reciovery group, and wanted me to make this up so he could make plaques out of it... (It might not be Dinotopian, but such sentiments would not be uncommon there...)

Here's another one! I got to thinking about whether or not Dinotopians would celebrate our holidays, but I know they would NEVER celebrate Halloween! Here's a piccy to show what would happen if they did! This one's called "Lil' Treaters":Let's see... You got an Ankylosaur as The Wolfman, a Miasaurus as The Mummy, a Pachycephalosaur as Frankenstein and a Pteranodon as Dracula... (That would scare just about anybody... Including the T-Rex!...) [glow=black,2,300] TRICK OR TREAT!...[/glow]

Here's some others you might find on hatchery walls... Wise sayings might be instructional to hatchlings. This one's called "Lil' glow worm"And this one's called "About worry"(The first one a little girl came up to me and recited, scampering away immediately afterward! The other my aunt in the hills used to say all the time. A real hillbilly!)

I may be not so good at artwork, but being artistic does run in my family. My mother used to be a pretty good sketch artist when she was a kid. "I was going through some family paperwork, and came across many things from my mom and dad. I was asked to scan the pictures and other things i found so they could be added to a website one of my cousins was compiling. In the things I found, there were sketches done by my mother when she was about 16. They are old and crumbly, paper tanned by the acids in the paper (They are about 60 years old now...). I felt like I was unwrapping the Dead Sea Scrolls when I was trying to straighten them out! Anyway, I thought you'd like to see them; so the next few posts will contain them..." But before you see those, here is a picture of me and my mom when I was 16... And here is a picture of my mom (And her sister Doris) when she was 16... (I'll start posting her sketches in the next post...) Enjoy!
